Just finished up a shirt for Cutthroat Clothing and couldn’t be happier with how it turned out. This shirt should be printed in a month or so and I will supply a link where it can be purchased for both guys and girls. Comments on the design are welcome.

Distance Between Stars is a great new band out of Hamilton with former members of The Pulse. I have made them a one colour design screened on red t-shirts. Check out these guys on their myspace and hit up a show!

Colour Blind? Have no clue about colours? or just want to find a nice colour scheme? Well then the Color Jack sphere is for you. Color Jack is an online application that aids you when picking a colour for your project. Pick anything from complementary to Six-tone CCW. Once you have found that ‘oh so perfect’ colour scheme you can then export it to any number of photo editing programs or just use the Hex values in your html/css. There is a science to nice colours and if you don’t know about it head on over to The Color Jack Sphere This site has many colour tools that I will cover in later posts.

I often get friends sending me photos that they would like cropped, resized, fliped, greyscaled, or any number of things done to them because they don’t have the tools or the know how to do it themselves. These simple task adds up when a few freinds ask every day. I recentally found out about a web service called Pixer. Pixer is an online photo editor that is free, simple to use, and does everything that one would need. Simply just upload an image and then choose from any one of the tools it offers. I find this handy when I’m on a computer that doesn’t have a photo program such as photoshop installed on it.

Hey everyone! Been a long and busy weekend, managed to finish up this design for a band called Killer He Condemned out of burlington. Check it out and as always give the band a listen Here.

CSS remix is a site that displays some of the nicest designed websites on the web, all of them coded with proper CSS. Trends in the web design world are open displayed here before they go big, its also a great place to find interesting blogs and websites. Great site, you should pay it a visit.

The fancy name for this one comes from one of the bands lyrics, cool? I enjoy the colors of this one. Let me know what you think!

If you search the web for site that offer fonts your likely to find some that are less than satisfactory. A great resource I use for fonts is called Dafont. Anything from non-serif to grunge fonts are available. Its sort of the Deviant Art of fonts, all the big designers post their stuff here, and the results are excellent. New fonts are posted every few days so check back every now and then.

I often want to find out the meaning of a word, and I want to do so quickly. I don’t want synonyms, antonyms, pronouncation, or anything else that comes along with going over to dictionary.com and typing in the word. A cool thing that a lot of people don’t know about Google is that you can use it as a dictionary and get results from a few places with one click (or hit of the enter button).

To do this, just type “Define:” in front of the word you would like a definition of.

Google will then bring you to a special results page that shows you the definitions of the word.

Try it out for yourself, much easier than going to a separate website.
